Bluetooth dongle doesn’t work

Check Bluetooth Drivers

  1. Open Device Manager on your PC and expand the Bluetooth section.
  2. Verify that the following three drivers are listed:
    • Generic Bluetooth Radio
    • Bluetooth Enumerator
    • Bluetooth LE enumerator


If All Drivers Are Present

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the bHaptics Player installed on your PC.
  • You may need to update or reinstall your Bluetooth drivers. If you are using the included Bluetooth dongle that comes with your bHaptics device, please install the driver below. Once the driver is installed, restart your PC and try pairing again through the bHaptics Player.

If the issue persists, please contact the bHaptics Support Team with a screenshot of the error message from the bHaptics Player.



If Any Drivers Are Missing


First, check if Bluetooth is enabled on your computer.


If the issue persists, it may be due to interference from your PC’s internal Bluetooth or a previously installed Bluetooth driver. To resolve this:


  1. Remove the provided dongle from your PC.
  2. Disable your PC’s internal Bluetooth.
  3. Uninstall any previously installed Bluetooth drivers, such as CSR Bluetooth Radio, and their associated software.
  4. Restart your PC and reinsert the provided dongle.
  5. Ensure the dongle has a clear line-of-sight to your TactSuit by positioning it towards your play area.
  6. Open Bluetooth settings on your PC and enable Bluetooth. Check if the dongle is properly scanning Bluetooth devices around you.
  7. Open Bluetooth settings on your PC and enable Bluetooth. Confirm that the dongle is scanning nearby Bluetooth devices.
  8. Open bHaptics Player and turn on your bHaptics device.
  9. Right-click on the scanned device icon(s) in the Player and click 'Pair'


Important: Do not directly pair bHaptics devices in the Windows Bluetooth Settings. Always pair them through the bHaptics Player for proper functionality.
